Rough electrical: CHECK.

We got a call today from Bob, the guy who is the liaison between us and Richmond homes. He told us that we had the choice to move the outlet in our garage to another area that makes more sense. We went to visit the house to see where the hypothetical refrigerator would go. We decided to move the outlet to a more logical area, next to the stairs. Other than that small, easy change, the electrical is finished!

  • Punch list

We also have our final "pre-sheetrock walk-through" on Friday. This is where we verify where all of the outlets are, where all of the fan pre-wires are, and where all of the can lights are going. Since our house is a preplanned home, designed by a builder, there is not a lot of problems typically with this kind of walk-through.

From here on out, I am pretty sure we will have slower updates. From what I am told, we are getting into the portion of the home build that takes more time. Cabinets, flooring, trim, etc. But, it is also the pretty stuff! So excited for what is to come!
