Leila: 11 months old!

Heath issues: Big brother Aiden brought home a cold from school :(

Sleep: She continues to be a wonderful sleeper. She still loves her bunny and her unicorn and I love watching her in the monitor playing with them! 

Diet: Still nursing between 3 and 4 times a day. She eats almost everything we eat. She is not picky at all! 

Baby gear love: She loves the Baby Bjorn, hates the Ergo baby carrier. Of course, right?!

Likes: She loves upside down kisses from her brothers, seeing her brothers first thing in the morning, her cousin Harlow, her bunny and unicorn, chewing on the coffee table like a puppy, the list goes on and on, she is just a lover!

Dislikes: Still hates footballs and basketballs, getting new teeth, when daddy yells "Aaaaa yaaaaaa!" and big kisses. 

Milestones: She is balancing a little better and more controlled when she lets go of things. She is also walking with a walker! 

I literally told myself, "I am not ironing the fabric, she just rolls over and messes it up and doesn't even smile...." Today of all days, she took some of the best pictures. Maybe the key is after nap! 

Leila: 10 months old!

Every day and month Leila gets closer to one year I get a little more sad that our last baby is growing up! I so vividly remember when Aiden was ten months, I was SO excited for him to turn one, sleep better, and grow up and do more things.... it is funny how things change with each child. Now, I can't seem to slow time down and it is so bittersweet!!

Heath issues: No health issues, thank goodness! 

Sleep: She has been sleeping in longer in the morning (except on trash day because of people who roll their cans down the driveways far too early!) She goes to bed around 6:30 and wakes up between 9:00 and 9:30 and naps for three or so hours during the day!

Diet: Nursing between 3 and 4 times a day. She eats almost everything we eat. She choked on a hot dog piece this month - that was scary. 

Baby gear love: She officially out used her swing, the motor just died and did not swing back and forth anymore. We still keep one in the family room for days I am at work and she takes a bottle.... or in the morning when my wonderful husband lets me sleep in on the weekends!

Likes: She still LOVES her bunny and her unicorn that she sleeps with. She also loves the boys toys and gets so mad when they take them from her! She also loves to chew on lemons and limes...weirdo!

Dislikes: She is too funny, she has gained a fear of any balls...footballs, basketballs, tennis balls - she freaks and climbs up your shoulders and grips so tight! 

Milestones: She now crawls like a regular, robot baby.. I love watching her little arms go up and down and hearing the slap of fat baby hands on the wood floors! 

Happy ten months sweet girl! I am so excited to plan your birthday party! 

Leila: 9 months old!

Well, this month's "photo shoot" did not go quite as planned! Teething + before nap = grumpy baby. But, this was the only time I could get it done, so I will call it a win!

Heath issues: Healthy as can be!

Sleep: She goes to bed around 6:30 p.m. and wakes up around 8:00 a.m. She takes one long nap during the day!

Diet: She still nurses between 4 - 6 times a day depending on if I am home or not. She also eats almost everything!

Baby gear love: Her swing, baby carrier, and now she loves to pull herself up on the highchair and dishwasher and be a big girl... please stop growing up, lovey!

Likes: She always wants to chew on our phones, her bunny and unicorn are still one of her favorite, and she loved her new carseat for 2.2 seconds, now she is back to screaming in the car!

Dislikes: Being cold, hungry, or dirty, her carseat! 

Milestones: She still army crawls, and has little blisters under her big toes because of it :( She also pulls herself up to a standing position. She has two top and two bottom teeth now!

Leila: 8 months old!

The little Leggy bean is eight months old! Every child grows up even faster than their older sibling, and I can finally see glimpses of her little personality shining through her cute baby-ness! She is probably going to be a clown, like Aiden, but loves to snuggle, like Luke did. She is also sassy and yells, VERY loudly to get our attention, or get more food in her mouth! She loves cabinets, army crawling, and getting pummeled with her brothers slippers. Like, she laughs HILARIOUSLY! She is self feeding and loved eggs, blueberry yogurt, and puffs! She is very observant about her surroundings (you would have to be with two, crazy older brothers) and is always trying to get close to them! We tell everyone she is a tough crowd to please, she doesn't like strangers and usually only her family can get her to smile, otherwise, you get the stink eye!

Heath issues: Nothing this month (thank goodness!)

Sleep: She goes to bed around 6:30 p.m. and wakes up around 8:00 a.m. She takes one long nap during the day!

Diet: Nursing about 4-5 times a day, and lots of food! She loved everything we gave her this month! 

Baby gear love: Her swing, baby carrier, highchair (because she gets food), and she still sleeps well in her crib at night!

Likes: Her bunny, unicorn, JellyCat, chewing on her brothers dinosaurs, trying to play with her brothers!

Dislikes: Being cold, hungry, or dirty, her carseat! 

Milestones: She is army crawling all over the place!! 

Leila: seven months old!

SEVEN. MONTHS. OLD. Holy moly! Every day she shows more of what a little person she is growing up to be! She is feisty, is not afraid to let us know if she doesn't like something, and has a good pair of lungs!

Clothes: 6 - 9 months, 12 month pajamas

Diaper: size 3

Some nicknames we have for her are: Pretty much just "leggy" 

Heath issues: Just lingering winter cold symptoms, nothing too serious. She did get her two bottom teeth, and man oh man, she is a rough teether. The boys were never super bothered by teething, but she is a whole different story! 

Sleep: She goes to bed around 6:30 and wakes up around 8:00 am. She takes one long nap during the day!

Diet: Nursing 95% of the time, and some baby purees the other 5% of the time!

Baby gear love: Her swing!

Likes: She LOVES her bunny and Santa brought her a new unicorn, and she loves that now too. 

Dislikes: Being cold, hungry, or dirty! <---- same as every month! She has also developed a dislike for being in her carseat - oh, what fun!! 

Milestones: She got her first two teeth and she is up and rocking on all fours. She loves to try and rock forward, which results in a painful face plant - then she gets really sad! 

Happy seven months, sweetness! 

Leila: six months old!

How is this little girl a half of a year old already?! Time has been FLYING and I just want it to slow down! Sometimes I feel like she is so much older than she is because she sleeps so well!

Heath issues: Poor girl got her first real cold this month that Aiden brough home from school. Our whole house got it. Hers turned in to an ear infection so she has been on antibiotics for the last week! 

Sleep: Her bed time is at 7:00 p.m. and she wakes up around 8 a.m. Some days she takes one nap and others she takes two! 

Diet: Mostly nursing. She eats some baby food but has not been super interested because of her sickness. Mangos are a no go, they caused her to have an AWFUL diaper rash! 

Baby gear love: Her jumper, her bumbo (although these things cause quite the diaper explosions), and her swing! 

Likes: She is pretty happy, I think she likes almost everything and everyone! 

Dislikes: Being cold, hungry, or dirty! <---- same as last month!

This month was her first Thanksgiving and since we were all sick and I am mom of the year, I don't have any pictures other than one, and it is not a good one!

Leila: five months old!

HOW is my little girl five months old already? Every night, as I nurse her to sleep, I cannot even believe how big she has gotten and how much she has grown over the last five months. She was such a little peanut with these little bird legs, and now she has grown into such a chunky monkey!

Clothes: 6 - 9 months

Diaper: size 3

Some nicknames we have for her are: Leil-y, Leggy, Leggy-buggy

Heath issues: Reflux and a mild rash she got from her first trip to the beach

Sleep: She sleeps from about 7 p.m. - 9 a.m straight. She usually only takes one nap per day, but a very lengthy one! 

Diet: This month we have incorporated some real baby food into her diet, and she LOVES it! So far her favorite are bananas, but she has tried butternut squash, and a few other "first" foods. Other than her "foods before one are just for fun" she is still nursing!

Baby gear love: She still likes her Bumbo, she naps in her swing, her brothers make her laugh when she is in her jumper, she even loves her crib. When I was pregnant with her, I bought a cute little bunny from PBK after we received some news that she may have some health concerns. While now that she is semi-mobile in her crib, she wiggles her way to that bunny every night and sleeps right next to it. It is probably one of the most precious things I have ever seen. 

Likes: Pretty much everything except having a dirty diaper, being cold, and being hungry.... but who would like those things?

Dislikes: Being cold, hungry, or dirty!
