Tile time.

Today I was having a really rough day. It would take me a novel to write why - but long story short - my parents (where we are currently living until we close) are selling their house. While my husband is at work and mom is out of town on business I have to relocate both children (that miss nap time), an 85 pound dog, keep the house clean and in show condition, find something to do with my children during showings that do not involve abandoning my dog in the car, worry about school work and that lack of sleep that comes with it as well as the short fuse attached to no good schedule for my kids. I am sure there is more - but let me tell you - it is a real joy of a time. Twenty. five. more. days. Typing that out feels like an eternity with the chaos of my daily life.

But alas, today we have tile. We also have exactly three weeks from today that the house needs to be finished. Our first walk through is October 14th, so it needs to be done by then!

  • This is not tile. but it is just the laundry room. We will do tile eventually, but it was around $500 for tile in this TINY area, which we did not think was a fair price. So we will do that one later on!

There were a few outside siding pieces that needed to be replaced. Also, the ceiling in the porch needed to be completed.

Hope everyone had a good Monday!
